This May, The Folded Leaf Yoga & Wellness Center is teaming up with FestivALL to bring Charleston, WV, two free outdoor yoga sessions on the banks of the Kanawha River. Both classes are open to everyone, whether you’ve been practicing for years or you’ve never touched a mat, and both are completely free to attend for all.
Here’s what’s on the schedule.
Morning Yoga on the River, May 23, 2026, at 9 am
Kick off your Saturday with a 60-minute all-levels yoga practice led by Beth Moore of The Folded Leaf. Beth is a certified health coach who specializes in intuitive eating and movement, and she brings 12 years of experience teaching yoga, Pilates, and group fitness. Expect a welcoming, beginner-friendly flow that gently wakes up the body and sets a grounded tone for a day full of FestivALL activities.

Sunset Yoga and Sound, May 31, 2026, at 7 pm
Close out the festival with something special. Nina Ratliff, the owner of The Folded Leaf, will lead a nourishing 60-minute all-levels yoga practice that finishes with a 15-minute sound healing savasana. Nina’s approach to wellness is rooted in the idea that healing rarely happens on just one level, and that true balance comes from tending to the body, mind, and spirit with the same care and compassion. With the river flowing nearby and the sun setting over downtown Charleston, this one is going to feel unforgettable.

About FestivALL
FestivALL is one of Charleston’s most beloved traditions, a celebration that turns the city into a living showcase of local art, music, performance, and community spirit. From art fairs and live performances to family events and wellness activities, FestivALL exists to lift up the people, makers, and ideas that make Charleston, Charleston. Folding yoga into the festival lineup reflects something important about the city’s values: that community health is more than a buzzword. When neighbours gather to move, breathe, and slow down together, the whole community feels it.
