Elizabeth Hope

Elizabeth discovered yoga in her twenties, but when a doctor advised against her practice due to issues with her spine, she stepped away from the mat. A decade later, while facing a decreased quality of life due to lower back pain, tight hips, degenerative disk disease, and the effects of chronic stress and anxiety, she returned to yoga and found profound healing.

This personal transformation sparked a deeper commitment to the practice. In 2020, she completed her first 200-hour teacher training with Randy Boyd in the Ashaya Yoga method, learning to focus on alignment, muscular engagement, and mindfulness. She then expanded her knowledge with a second 200-hour training at Lifespring yoga, exploring tensegrity and flow. In 2022, she completed her 300-hour advanced training with Randy Boyd, diving deeper into the Ashaya method's four elements - opening, engaging, aligning, and expanding.

As a 500 RYT, Elizabeth brings both technical knowledge and personal understanding to her classes. She knows firsthand how yoga can transform not just physical discomfort, but also mental and emotional well-being. Her teaching emphasizes the integration of breath, alignment, and mindful movement, while fostering a growth mindset that encourages students to approach their practice with curiosity and self-compassion. She creates a space where students can discover their own healing and growth through practice, embracing each moment on the mat as an opportunity to learn and evolve.
